Excessive construction noise

      I recently moved to a unit and there is a lot of construction work going right outside our building and this will go on for an year as per Sydney metro. When we cam for inspection last month the construction work was meters away from here and there was no noise. We were not informed by or agent or landlord about the construction work, although as per Sydney metro they informed all the residents before starting the work. Since that time we were not living over here, should not it be our agent’s responsibility to inform us about this? 

      Please suggest what can be done now. I am a migraine patient and this noise is killing me.

    PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum.
