COVID lockup has given me time to get a little more educated about Strata and get access to the financial transactions for our Owners Corporation.

(10 unit class B Owners Corporation in the ACT)

Examination of the general ledger shows that in 2020 the Strata Manager erroneously paid about $800 to repair damage to common property caused by renters in a specific unit. Can an individual owner request the Executive Committee to request the Strata Manager to direct the owner of the specific unit to pay the money back to the OC? I suspect the mistake was made by the SM and the specific owner was an unwitting beneficiary of their mistake. What gotchas do I need to be aware of?

Thanks in advance for your collective advice,
