    Hi Jimmy,

We have a situation in the building were I live where 3 members of the EC (we are 5) have a majority and they are now dictating and harrasing some of the owners just because we don’t see eye to eye on things.

The 3 EC members have told the Strata Manager to issue a notice to all owners letting them know that all the belongings which have been stored for many years now in a lock basement, must be individually labelled and if they are not, they will be removed.

My question to you is whether anybody needs to comply with what the 3 EC members want and what will happen if we don’t comply?

Just because they are the EC, I don’t believe they have the power to dictate such a thing or remove other people’s property. To me this is more like theft if they do that.

    Your opinion is greatly appreciated

    Kind Rgds
