      HI all

This is the first time i used this forum fyi.

The plumber I used overcharged me for a job and now wants to take things to a civil court if I dont pay. He came to my house to unblock a drain for $380 dollars, which i paid. Then he told me his hose was stuck so had to come back to remove it without quoting how much this would cost. Eventually he charged almost 3000 dollars for this to locate and dig up the hose!

I got quotes from other plumbers and the dearest one was even 1000 dollars cheaper. I tried to negotiate about the price but he did not respond. I also asked him which court/tribunal he wants to take it, no response.

      questions:

-Is it worth going to a court for this or should i just pay?

-which small court is the most likely? i dont want to end up paying legal costs on top of this.

      kind regards and thanks

      L
