I was advised by the builder that the tenants should vacate the unit whilst remedial works were being done to waterproof the terrace, and remove the door onto the balcony. The work will take about 3  months.
At an AGM it was agreed I would be paid $800 per week if the tenants moved out or $400 if the tenants stayed.
The tenants moved out on 25 April 2025.
The keys were given to the builder on Monday 5 May 2025.
Now at a strata committee meeting on Friday, 23 May 2025,, the Chairperson says that the tenants did not have to move out & refuses to pay me $800 per week.
      What can I do, please?

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum. Please, don’t use “quote” unless there is a specific point to which you wish to refer, then highlight (define) that specific passage before you click on "quote". Otherwise just use reply. THANKS.
