Unique Tram House would be an Airbnb dream

Tram-house-e1761829439148.jpeg

It's a real Bondi tram, and it's really built into a rural property.

If you ever wondered whatever happened to the trams that used to rumble through Sydney streets to Bondi, one of them has become part of a unique home in the mid North Coast area of NSW.

A full-sized Bondi tram carriage has been built into large four-bedroom Queenslander-style home near Dorrigo, about an hour inland from Coffs Harbour.

Two thirds of the tram runs through the house, while the other end forms a sunroom that extends out into the property near Guy Fawkes National Park.

The tram extends out to form a sunroom in the garden.

It’s a bit mad but definitely has a quirky appeal – and it could be yours for just $875k. Hate to say it but this would have Airbnb bookers drooling.
