We have an OC building project coming up on common property – worth more than $50K. Our contractor has sent through the Building NSW standard contract which they are planning to use. This is a link to that standard contract: Home building contract for work over $20,000 | NSW Government

Is this the correct contract for a strata job? It refers to “title” rather than to a strata plan number. Throughout the contract, the terms used are contractor and owner rather than contractor and . . . who? Committee?

We can work with it, but does anyone know if there is another one that is more tailored to strata schemes.

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum.
