    Hi There,

I am about to do a renovation with all the consents to date from OC and Council. There is a gas supply to the kitchen etc My question is this:

Do I need to get consent from OC to install a gas bayonet in another room of the unit?

    Many thanks for your opinions.

Simple answer, yes, as you will be passing the gas pipe through common property. They will also want to make sure the work is done by a licensed gas fitter or plumber.
