Back chatting on the ABC with James Valentine

James Valentine - Back in the Afternoons saddle ... with a Flatchat segment.

For longer than either of us can remember, James Valentine used to invite me on to his Afternoons radio show to talk about strata, writes JimmyT.

People would call in and put me on the spot about problems they had or things they didn’t understand and I would try to answer them as best I could.

Then, a couple of years ago, James wandered off to do the Breakfast show on Auntie and there was no more strata chat.

Well, he’s back and so am I.  This week we caught up again to find out what’s happened in the past year ot two and, specifically, look at embedded networks and why they are so (mostly) bad for apartment owners.

And, of course, there was all that pent up frustration from his loyal listeners who needed to ask their strata questions.  There’s one really interesting one about smoking in a retirement village, that’s worth a listen.

You can catch up with our chat from yesterday here on the ABC website.  My bit starts at about 35m15s. It’s fun – like we never missed a beat.
