Topic: Bathroom tiles fell off the wall – who is responsible to replace them?

The unit is currently 3 months empty – 18 tiles just fell off the concrete wall in a single double tile section. Water is not an issue in this part of old (1960) original bathroom. Who has to pay for repair, 9 of the 18 fell undamaged.

Unless your by-laws state otherwise, if the wall is on the inside of an external wall or a common property wall, it and the tiles fixed to it are the Owners Corp responsibility. If the wall is internal – ie, the other side is inside your flat – the responsibility is yours.
