Editing a website is a bit like driving a train – everything seems to be working fine until you look behind you and realise you don’t have any passengers.
And then you discover that’s because nobody can buy a ticket and even then the doors don’t open.
Also, as our Sydney light rail drivers have discovered, just because something is new and shiny, it doesn’t mean it’s going to work as intended.
All of which is my way of saying that we have moved to a faster, more stable server … and, briefly, a couple of glitches made it harder for people to register and log in.
But that’s all fixed now (fingers crossed, touch wood) and you shouldn’t have any trouble registering with the website or logging on once you have. Also the pages should load faster and be more up-to-date.
If you do have problems either registering, logging in or posting, please drop me a line at ma**@**********om.au – up here at the front of the train, I often don’t know there’s a problem until someone pulls the communication cord.
While I have your attention, the newsletter and podcast will be going out a day later this week due to trackwork … sorry, I mean, the public holiday.
Thank you for your patience and perseverance.
