      Hi guys,

Someone (i’m assuming someone who lives on the property as we have a longer-than-average driveway and are tucked in behind the main street) has dumped their bulky and heavy microwave and other kitchen appliance on the brick wall near my garage.

This hasn’t happened ever and i’ve been here since building inception (maybe i should count myself lucky?), so i can only assume it’s someone who is relatively new who has decided to be scummy and done this. I don’t know exactly who though. The complex doesn’t have cameras to catch them red-handed.

I’ve put up notices and informed Strata Management about their inappropriate dumping and it doesn’t look like the offender is going to clear their rubbish. What is my next step?

Also, off-topic, but is there a way to delete past threads created on the Flat Chat forum?

Ask your committee or strata manager to arrange the removal of the offending goods as quickly as possible before it is established as a dumping spot, and hop that it’s just a one-off.  In the absence of repeated behaviour, I wouldn’t even put up signs – that will just make people think what a good idea it is to dump there.
