As our Body Corp company does our 8 block unit insurance and has their own agency should we be charged for an insurance claim that was placed due to a robbery of a storage unit? This is above and beyond the normal commission that their agency receives.
The other query is regarding insurance coverage too. This concerns that two storage units were damaged and one was rebuilt for $3600 and the other the locksmith who arrived mended the door best he could and put a new lock on it $400 and ofcourse that was not under insurance and it was the one that was more damaged than the one just mended.
The body corp manager said nothing and it was only uncovered at the minutes of the AGM where the Strata Company charged $230 for the insurance claim. Does anyone know the answers??

A couple of basic questions – you refer to the “Body Corporate company”; which state are you in and do you mean the strata manager?

Also, what exactly is the thrust of your second question?
