Raining Stones

This question reminded me of an email Flat Chat got about a year ago.  An owner in a top floor flat had his apartment turned into a virtual oven when pebbles were removed from the roof as part of a renovation of the roof membrane.  So the pebbles do serve a purpose (especially in these eco-conscious days).  I would have tought a fine nettiing placed over them would have solved the problem.
