They say no good turn goes unpunished and one Flatchatter certainly has a dilemma because she wants to do the right thing.
On the one hand, in between tenancies she had the carpet lifted in her investment unit and a timber floor installed.
But now that a tenant has moved in, the downstairs neighbour is complaining about footfall noise.
OK, says our Flatchatter, I’ll put carpet back down but the tenant doesn’t want to have carpet in the flat.
Our Flatchatter doesn’t want to lose this tenant but the lease is coming up? The agent says she can’t put the carpet down without the tenant’s approval.
What can she do? We have a couple of ideas HERE.
