OUR QUESTION INVOLVES AS STRATA WHICH HAS 2 COMMERCIAL UNITS (ONE A DENTIST THE OTHER A SPECIALIST OPHTHALMIC SURGEON) THE COMPLEX ALSO INCLUDES RESIDENTIAL UNITS. THE PROBLEM REVOLVES AROUND ACCESS VIA THE LIFT THE MEDICAL PRACTICES FROM THE UNDERGROUND  PARKING. THE LIFT CURRENTLY LOCKED & PATIENTS ARE PREVENTED FROM ENTRY VIA THE LIFTS UNLESS THEY ARE GREETED BY A PREARRANGED MEMBER OF STAFF.

THE PRACTITIONERS ARE PREPARED TO CONTRIBUTE TO ALTERATIONS REQUIRED TO ENSURE SECURITY FOR THE RESIDENTIAL AREAS. THE EC HOWEVER IS NOT INTERESTED IN LOOKING AT THIS ISSUE.

HOW SHOULD WE APPROACH THIS FROM HERE ?

You should yourselves investigate the options for restricted access to the commercial Lots, and if you’re the Owners of those Lots you should put your preferred option as a Motion on the Agenda of the next General Meeting, and if you’re the tenants of those lots then put that preferred option to your Landlord with a request that they raise it with their Executive Committee or place it on the Agenda of the next General Meeting Agenda themselves.

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum. Please, don’t use “quote” unless there is a specific point to which you wish to refer, then highlight (define) that specific passage before you click on "quote". Otherwise just use reply. THANKS.
