I’m on our complex’s BMC and have asked our SM for access to the BMC portal so I can view invoices etc that come in for payment. I’ve already caught our SM out paying invoices that should have been paid, paying the wrong amount through “typos”, and also not paying invoices that end up charging the owners a late fee (e.g. Sydney Water). I was given access to the SM portal but for my individual strata plan, not the BMC, but 75% of our fees go to the BMC. Our SM told me that there’s no BMC portal so I can’t be given access. In another response I was told it’s too complicated to have a BMC portal so it doesn’t exist. I want to see all the invoices, not just ones that seem suss in the financials. Is there anyone on a BMC that has portal access to the invoices that come in. Just want to know if it actually is too difficult for the software to cope with.
