      Hi:

Due to family expansion, I want to add a internal wall within my unit to turn my living area into 3rd bedroom. I sent my request to strata, strata saying I need a DA approval from willoughby council.

Do I really need approval from council or even from strata ? as this alteration will not be visible from outside and there is no structural change to common property.

IF I do need approval from council, which type of approval I need.  heard there is a new state legislation to make this type of thing easy. anyone can help me by pointing to a direction.

      Thanks

      Bob

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum. Please, don’t use “quote” unless there is a specific point to which you wish to refer, then highlight (define) that specific passage before you click on "quote". Otherwise just use reply. THANKS.
