They want to put a Mobile Phone Tower on our building

      We have been approached to lease common property for a mobile phone tower on our roof and space in garage area for equipment and cabling.

      It would be a 20year lease divided into 4×5 leases with lease payments on an annual basis. We have a lawyer looking at the contract. The Strata Committee feel we are being rushed into a decision to put to the Owners Corporation. We are spending hours to understand all this.

      We have reservations about the access they require and the footprint for the equipment plus the resale value of our apartments.

      If we don’t agree, there is a chance they will put it on the roof of the building in front of us. The top two floors of our building overlooks the roof of the adjacent building 20 metres away.

      Have any other SC ventured down this path?

    PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services.
