I have enquired about renovating a bathroom & laundry, which involves a complete strip out, waterproofing & re tiling.

The strata manager has requested that i get a solicitor to draft a by-law in relation to me being responsible for any damage to common property during the renovation.

I asked a solicitor and he quoted me $900 + GST to draft the by-law,is this common practice?

Thanking you in advance confused newbie

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum. Please, don’t use “quote” unless there is a specific point to which you wish to refer, then highlight (define) that specific passage before you click on "quote". Otherwise just use reply. THANKS.
