Learned Flat Chat followers, according to seemingly deliberately very vague Executive Committee meeting agendas and minutes, our Chairman is currently ‘designing’ a structure to house our recycling bins which are currently in an open, badly maintained and ugly area in plain view of everyone who comes and goes. But I don’t trust his taste and design sense and I’m not the only one.

He can’t just have something designed and built all on his own, can he? Even if his and his committee approve it? Shouldn’t it go before a General Meeting of the Owners Corporation for majority approval? It will, in my view, substantially change the appearance of the strata even if it is just a bin room and as such is an ‘improvement’. And when I say “in m view” it is actually in my view and as I said, everyone who comes and goes will see it..

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum. Please, don’t use “quote” unless there is a specific point to which you wish to refer, then highlight (define) that specific passage before you click on "quote". Otherwise just use reply. THANKS.
