I looked at our strata’s records this week, as I’ve posted elsewhere; not a fun experience.

I saw and noted there appear to be two ‘hack-and-glass’, ‘glazing’ jobs paid for by the Owners Corporation that seem to coincide time-wise with dog / cat doors being installed in ground floor balcony doors to adjoining Strata Committee members units.

What’s the best way to check if something inappropriate has occurred? Ask the Strata Manager directly and ask for confidentiality? Ask our treasurer exactly what the job was and ask for confidentiality? Ask the question in front of everyone at upcoming AGM? Then what do we do?

It’s entirely possible the members concerned have done this in a brazenly dishonest way; kinda guys!

      What’ll we do?

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum. Please, don’t use “quote” unless there is a specific point to which you wish to refer, then highlight (define) that specific passage before you click on "quote". Otherwise just use reply. THANKS.
