We own a small one bedroom apartment in Sydney that had some water damage to part of the ceiling above the kitchen. Our managing agent bought in a plumber who cut a hole in the ceiling, found the leak and fixed it,all good.Body Corp. paid for the repair. The body Corp. is saying the hole in the ceiling is not covered by them and to claim it on our Landlords Insurance. Our insurer is saying the ceiling is part of the building and Body Corp. should be paying for the repair.Insurance will only pay for the ceiling repaint.Who’s right?

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum. Please, don’t use “quote” unless there is a specific point to which you wish to refer, then highlight (define) that specific passage before you click on "quote". Otherwise just use reply. THANKS.
