Our complex has decided to get a new SM. we have been advised that we will be asked to vote – on one applicant.

Is that the norm? Or should we the Owners be given the right to vote on a couple of nominees? Is it too much to ask the details ie why this one? Who else was in the running?

Have only been involved in the selection of a SM at the start of a strata plan. In that instance we decided between two contenders and decided on what was presented to us in each proposal.

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services.
