We have an enclosed storage space (a room, as opposed to a cage), and we have requested permission to install a power-point in this location.

In view of the fact that approval for the installation of a power-point had already been granted to another owner (in a caged storage area), we were amazed when our request was denied.

When we attended the next meeting to request what was the reason for this denial after the precedent had been set, we were informed that the committee had concerns that we may indulge in some nefarious use of this power point because it was in a room out of sight!

Do we have grounds for appeal in your opinion, and to whom would we appeal?

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum. Please, don’t use “quote” unless there is a specific point to which you wish to refer, then highlight (define) that specific passage before you click on "quote". Otherwise just use reply. THANKS.
