      Hi All,

We have had an ECM called to discuss discharging the current contractors who maintain our common property (lawns, gardens foyers etc.) and appoint new contractors. One of the unit owners has put their hand up and wants to do it for a fee. The owner simply wants to do it for the cash income, has no ABN, insurance or necessary tools to do the job. I wouldn’t trust this owner to do anything other than to collect the money. Is it legal to have someone who is a lay person with no ABN and insurance to perform this type of work.

      Cheers

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum. Please, don’t use “quote” unless there is a specific point to which you wish to refer, then highlight (define) that specific passage before you click on "quote". Otherwise just use reply. THANKS.
