Hi Flat Chat forum, this is my first post.

I've noticed an blatant disregard by contractors for vehicles parked kerbside to the council strip. Lawnmowers and leaf blowers are used within inches of cars and motorbikes. Debris is often just blown directly onto the vehicles.

My car was damaged this morning by (I believe) a lawnmower on the council strip. I didn't witness this, and the strata manager tells me unless I get it on film or witnessed then there's not much I can do.

The priority of these contractors seems to be get in & out as quickly as possible and don't worry about any damage to property because the risk of being caught is minimal.

      Any experience with this?

Any other avenues I can explore to get these contractors to pay for my damage?
