I'm heading off to the Gold Coast this week to take part in a debate at the Griffith University strata conference. The topic is Purchasers are insufficiently protected in the strata title unit sale process. Now, I could ramble on for hours about why this is the case but this is a unique opportunity for you FlatChatters to get your message out there.

Tell me your stories of how you feel you have been ripped off, cheated and under-protected (or otherwise). No names please – either yours or the ripper-offers – let's keep this generic. That way you can tell the whole story and I can sock it to 'em in the Sunshine state.

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum. Please, don’t use “quote” unless there is a specific point to which you wish to refer, then highlight (define) that specific passage before you click on "quote". Otherwise just use reply. THANKS.
