EC personally liable for safety issues with building?

      Hi

      As a member of the EC for our building, I’m concerned that we have been told there was a rule change by the government this year and we are now personally liable for issues with the building. And have to pay for a risk assessment to be performed.

      If this is so what is our building insurance for?

    PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum.
