Response to your article about floor covering/noise: One of the advantages to having carpet is that it is easier on the back. Feet and all skeletal parts – especially if there is a medical spine problem. Carpet is wonderful, especially if good quality.

I do think carpet will make a fashion return before long. My kids used to sound like a team of elephants before we put the carpet down. Carpet is cosy. Vacuums today are very efficient.
