A resident living on the top floor of our complex has been flying the Australian flag for over a year now and just recently another 4 owners have started doing this as well. There are protocols involved with flying the flag which states the Australian flag shouldn't be flown at night unless properly illuminated.

Some residents are starting to complain especially on windy days and nights when the flags can be quite noisy.

Is this something our E.C. should be stopping except on days such as Australia Day and Anzac day. I'm not sure if our by-laws do cover this except maybe the appearance of lot and peaceful enjoyment of others by-laws.

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum. Please, don’t use “quote” unless there is a specific point to which you wish to refer, then highlight (define) that specific passage before you click on "quote". Otherwise just use reply. THANKS.
