Hi, just a question and thought this forum may be the place to ask?!?!

We have owned our property in a strata non-gated community for over 4 years now, never have we used any of the facilities or benefits of the estate – I think we purchased the property without really looking at the inclusions – the non strata border is at the footpath outside our property, parks across the street zoned as council not under the body corporate.

Have probably not worded any of the above correctly, but I am interested in investigating if the property can be zoned out of the strata, what would be involved where we would start?

Have seen various things over the years of people declaring their properties kingdoms etc – do not want to go that far, love our house but the community management side of it has me ready to sell.

As mentioned, not a gated community and we are at the boundary of the estate.

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum. Please, don’t use “quote” unless there is a specific point to which you wish to refer, then highlight (define) that specific passage before you click on "quote". Otherwise just use reply. THANKS.
