      Hi,

Our neighbour has requested repair to an existing boundary Colorbond fence which is looked after by Strata as common property. Neighbour is not part of Strata property and is agreeing to pay half. Strata has agreed to replace/repair Colorbond, but is refusing to replace lattice extension screen which is attached to the Colorbond fence. This has been installed along top of fence, and between properties in 3 of the 4 Strata properties. One property owner (and member of Strata Exec committee) is admitting to adding this herself. However, the three properties have identidical lattice extension added to Colour bond fence.
If the lattice is attached to common property boundary fence and there is no note of Strata not being responsible for it, do Strata have to honor replacement of this height extension when fence is replaced?

      Many thanksLaugh
