Our Strata Manager’s behaviour has been less than acceptable and we made a formal complaint to them earlier this year.
Poor communication, commercial in confidence information sent by Strata Manager to another contractor who was asked to quote on the issue, incorrect work orders issued……..
Since then service has deteriorated – one request was sent to them 3 months ago with 6 follow up emails to which we’ve had no response.
The complaint was made to the Licensee in charge who seems to ignore these issues.
We are considering changing strata managers but have 18 months left on our agreement. We don’t believe we should have to pay out the remainder of this agreement as they are not delivering what we are paying for.
      Any advice?

Go through their contract and identify specific areas where you can prove they haven’t fulfilled it. Then tell them you are teminating the contract on those grounds and that you are prepared to take them to fair Trading if they don’t agree to leave amicably.

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum. Please, don’t use “quote” unless there is a specific point to which you wish to refer, then highlight (define) that specific passage before you click on "quote". Otherwise just use reply. THANKS.
