      Our secretary issues E C meeting notices showing a single motion “that the condition of the building be considered, including but not limited to, the following topics: painting the stairwell” and then reckons that any item (s)he might think of on the meeting night is included.

       

      I reckon that the notice should be specific “that a contractor be engaged to fix the laundry windows” – see Schedule 3 of the NSW Act. You need to plan everything at least 72 hours before the meeting, but so what.

       

      Where did the secretary get his/her idea from, please?

    PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum.
