Levies Behind then No Repairs

      I have an urgent repair in air conditioning. The strata will not repair because I am behind in my levies. The EC is notorious for not fixing things unless it is an EC member, so I had decided to have the air conditioning repaired myself and then submit the bill to strata.  Our outside air conditioning is considered common property. I have a payment plan in place for levies, but the EC will still not pay for the repair. Is this correct?

    PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum.
