Lift replacement or upgrade

      Our lift has to be upgraded or replaced to meet the fire regulations.  It is an eight storey building and the owners are concerned that they will lose their tenants when the lift is out of action.  Can the body corporate be held responsible for their loss of rent?

    PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services.
