      Hi,

I live alone in a 2 bedroom flat, carpeted throughout, and do not wear shoes inside.  I very rarely entertain.  For years, my downstairs neighbour has sporadically complained about noise from my walking (I won't hear anything for months, then a spate of texts).  I hear my upstairs neighbour too but it IS an apartment complex; ambient noise is to be expected (I don't complain about the next door neighbour who has floorboards and a boisterous toddler who likes banging.

I have gone out of my way to minimise noise from my apartment, but, short of levitating, I don't know what to do.

The last complaint was one of the few times I had friends over to watch movies.  Apparently the odd guest walking to the bathroom was just too much for him to bear.

How can I stop this neurotic man's harassment?

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum. Please, don’t use “quote” unless there is a specific point to which you wish to refer, then highlight (define) that specific passage before you click on "quote". Otherwise just use reply. THANKS.
