Hi, I found this forum while searching for this topic.

So here's the story: I live in a small block of 5 units in QLD.

Neighbours next door just moved in and the unit they bought has the air conditioners wall mounted, but the rest are on the ground.  The problem is that the units are right next to my bedroom window, and the noise and vibration come right into my bedroom. They LOVE to have the A/C on and I have spoken to them about it, and they claim to have added extra padding underneath, but don't seem willing to do much more. I have alerted council, and am logging all the noise eagerly awaiting the day that I send the noise diary in.

Anyway, spoke to a neighbour who has been living in this block since it was built, and it turns out that the air conditioners were installed before body corp were formed. He reckons that one way to solve this is to get body corp to pay for the shifting of the offending air conditioners.

I am certainly hoping that this is the case, but would like a second opinion to see what my options are here.Confused
