    Hi,

Back in November 2017 water leaked 3 floors above us down to our unit on the ground floor. The leak resulted in our carpet in our unit being ruined along with a couple of other items. We made a claim on our own home contents insurance. Our insurance company required either a letter from the strata or a plumbers report detailing the source of the leak and confirmation that it has been fixed. On numerous occasions we have tried to obtain this from our strata manager but they have been non responsive. As a unit owner, what is the best method in getting the strata manager to respond to us? Its been 4 months and our insurance claim won’t proceed without the plumber’s/strata report.

    Hope you can help me.

    Many thanks.

    Jeff
