Payment of Executive Committe members

      The Secretary on Our Executive Committee is paying herself to do the cleaning and gardening,  is this allowed?  The cleaning and gardening of the common property was being done voluntarily by an owner for the past 9 months, that person was not nominated for the new Executive Committee at the last AGM and so understandably withdrew her voluntary services.  Now the new secretary has taken  on the duties and is paying herself twice as much as was being paid when these services were being paid for 10 months ago.

    PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services.
