We have finally got some relief from a serial complainant-he died! For 15 years he had our scheme before the CTTT which continually put up with his antics i.e. adjournments, appeals and lies. He NEVER won a case but cost us many thousands of dollars and waste of time plus caused 5 families to move. Not once were we awarded costs-even though one Tribunal Member wanted to but couldn't because “another member allowed applicant to withdraw case without reference to me and therefore the case was not dismissed”. Pedantic lawyer nonsense or just bad laws? Another case dragged on, including assaults, proven perjury and failure to comply. Penalty $50!  So now our dear departed has gone to that big tribunal in the sky(or elsewhere)but we fear another action against us all that WE stressed HIM out.

Solution-Disband the CTTT and have paid community panels to consider cases. Have a tenant rep. landlord rep. community rep who is neither and get rid of all the lawyers.
