I am on the top floor of a strata block which has had ongoing leaks I have had to endure in every room for 10 years. Nothing has been done despite holes in my ceiling, wet carpet and ruined possessions for all that time as the body corporate has been involved in an ongoing dispute with our own insurers over an appalling job done by the original and totally inept roof replacer. I have now paid about 15 k in special levies just to be involved in this botched court case which we lost. The roof is finally being repaired and I will have to get new ceilings. My question is as I will have to move out while this job is being done and all my possessions will need to be packed up- who will pay for this massive inconvenience. Also the paintwork and borders I presently have will be ruined.Do I have to pay for the replacement and reprinting.? I have endured a wet apartment for years. After 10 years of hell patiently endured I am over it !!!
