      Hello everyone,
I’m part of our strata committee and have been tasked with finding a building company that specialises in modernising apartment buildings.
We’re looking to update the lobby and surrounding common areas of a 40-year-old, three-block apartment complex located on the Lower North Shore.
If anyone has any great recommendations or has worked with a company they’d highly recommend, I’d love to hear from you!
      Thanks in advance!

I’m suspending our default ban on mentioning commercial companies as this might be of broad interest and informative, so recommend away!

The PM will find you builders and run a tender process

I think he means Project Manager rather than Prime Minister

I would recommend engaging an architect to prepare the design and scope of works first, and then go to tender to select a builder. Without a defined scope, it is difficult to obtain comparable quotes for pricing and assessment, and it would also be hard to establish an accurate budget.

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum. Please, don’t use “quote” unless there is a specific point to which you wish to refer, then highlight (define) that specific passage before you click on "quote". Otherwise just use reply. THANKS.
