Storage cage lock/door – common or Lot owner’s property?

      Hi,

      I’m in NSW.

      My padlock was broken off in a break, enter & steal on my storage cage located in the carpark basement. The door (bolt lever) it was secured to was damaged in the process by the crim. I understand the padlock is my responsibility but isn’t the door on the cage common property? Like the door and lock on our garages?

    PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services.
