Our agreement is coming up for updating. We were presented with an agreement at an AGM and asked to sign. No way.

There were various costs that when asked about, they said that they don’t charge those. Very generous. But on written notification they can charge them if “they want to.”

They had done this with the extra meeting costs.

This seems an unconsolable to be able to raise fees as they like. We don’t have a similar advantage to lower the fees. Is the Trade practices Act relavent to this?

I assume that you’re referring to a Strata Management Agency Agreement, but before we go too much further could you please confirm the State / Territory in which your property is located?

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum. Please, don’t use “quote” unless there is a specific point to which you wish to refer, then highlight (define) that specific passage before you click on "quote". Otherwise just use reply. THANKS.
