      hi,

This may be something that can’t happen – however, is it possible for readers of this forum who are happy with their strata management company, to actually voice their joy?

I am moving into a new development soon & the Strata Management Company has been selected by the developer.T

These folk may be perfectly fine, I have no idea – but I guess I am concerned about how they will behave when it comes to defects etc.

It would be great to have a list of alternate companies that other strata owners are happy with.

Flat Chat is mostly an ‘advertisement free’ zone for posters so without mentioning names, there is a great Strata Manager in Kogarah NSW.

I think it has been suggested before but you need to have the right questions and interview each prospect as you would do for any job.

You will find the questions you need to ask by reading the Flat Chat posts.

I don’t mind the occasional endorsement of someone you have had a good experience with – as long as it”s not you.  Name and acclaim, say I.

By the way, there is nothing particularly sinister about a developer presenting a strata manager as a candidate for the role as they will have used one to help set up the by-laws and strata plan in the first place (not that I’m recommending you go with their suggestion).

And finally, Strata Choice are the principle sponsors of this website – they wouldn’t be if I didn’t think they were good and decent people.

PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum. Please, don’t use “quote” unless there is a specific point to which you wish to refer, then highlight (define) that specific passage before you click on "quote". Otherwise just use reply. THANKS.
