Hi there, our strata manager is way behind the 8 ball and we are fortunate now to be in a position where we can review who we will engage as a strata manager. Apart from them not being up to date with the new warranty periods or ensure a sense of urgency with related matters – their use of IT is challenged to say the least. I am waiting for the next Uber equivalent to come and shake up the software that supports these industries. Even the building manager (who we think is great) relies on an excel spreadsheet – which just doesn’t have the traceability.
As we go through the process of appointing a manager I was wondering if you were aware of which managers (in NSW, southern Sydney) would be more tech savvy and provide systems that enable an owner to easily log on, access their invoices or payment history, make payments, add any issues that are forwarded to building management, have voting systems, provide some dashboard back on building performance. OK thats a wish list but – I would really appreciate some suggestions as I would like to get at least three in front of our EC for a chat. Alternatively if you can tell us the creme de la creme of software and we can chase down the strata managers using these.
Many thanks
