We have a tenant in our unit block that has no driving skills. They have now driven into the fence three times resulting in the fence needing to be rebuilt. The first two times they have stumped up cash for the repairs. The lastest episode occurred in December 2013 and we haven’t been able to get money out of them to repair the fence. The event occurred at 11.30pm and was witnessed by two owners and one neighbour and I took photos at the time. The rental agent for the unit doesn’t seem interested in chasing them for the restitution.

Is it possible to add the cost of repairs directly to the levies of the unit owner and have them recover the amount from the tenants?
