      I attended the AGM last night of one of the several OCs that I am a member of.   This OC has 190 lot owners.  At the AGM only 5 owners attended including me (I don't know about proxy votes) .  Half way though the meeting a 6th attendee arrived.  So a less than 3% attendance rate.

      On another occasion, the AGM of another OC I am a member of (12 lots) was attended solely by myself. And this time I know there were no proxy votes.  I suppose at least it was an 8% attendance rate …

      These meetings were stark reminders that for many owners,  the OC AGM seems to be of little or no importance unless there is some major issue that concerns them personally.

    PLEASE ... If your property is not in NSW, mention its location (state). Don't identify companies or individuals by name. Don't mention or promote your company or services. Keep acronyms and initials to a minimum. Please, don’t use “quote” unless there is a specific point to which you wish to refer, then highlight (define) that specific passage before you click on "quote". Otherwise just use reply. THANKS.
